Ticket & Travel Policy

    1. Counter Purchased Ticket Refund Policy

    • Passengers can cancel tickets free of charge if the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
    • Refund requested 12 hours before departure: 30% fare deduction will apply.
    • Refund requested 6 hours before departure: 50% fare deduction will apply
    • Refund requested 1 hour before departure or after departure: Tickets become nonrefundable and non-transferable.
    • No refund will be given if a passenger misses the bus or requests a refund after departure.
    • It is the passenger’s responsibility to check the bus schedule and arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes before departure.
    • The passenger is required to submit the original ticket along with a copy of their ID card. The name on the ticket must match the ID, and the person requesting the refund in person. Refund will be issued only from the terminal where the ticket was purchased. No refund will be entertained to any other person.

    Additionally, any other information you choose to provide through our website forms will be stored and used in accordance with this policy.

    2. Online Ticket Refund Policy

    2.1 Tickets Purchased from Kainat Travels Website or Mobile App
    • Tickets purchased directly from www.kainattravels.com or the Kainat Travels mobile app using any online payment method (JazzCash, debit/credit card, etc.) are refundable only to the original payment source.
    • Cash refunds are not permitted for online purchases.
    • Ticket Refund Charges:
    • Refund requested 24 hours before departure or for tickets purchased one week or more in advance: A 2% service charge applies.
    • Refund requested 12 hours before departure: 30% fare deduction
    • Refund requested 6 hours before departure: 50% fare deduction
    • Refund requested 1 hour before departure or after departure: Tickets become nonrefundable and non-transferable.
    • No refund will be given if a passenger misses the bus or requests a refund after departure.
    • It is the passenger’s responsibility to check the bus schedule and arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes before departure.
    2.2 Tickets Purchased through Third-Party Platforms
    • Tickets purchased via third-party platforms (e.g., Bookme, Sastaticket, Bookkru) can only be refunded through the respective platform.
    • Ticket Refund Charges:
    • Refund requested 24 hours before departure: No Kainat Travels deduction applies; only third-party platform policies may apply.
    • Refund requested 12 hours before departure: 30% fare deduction
    • Refund requested 6 hours before departure: 50% fare deduction
    • Refund requested 1 hour before departure or after departure: Tickets become nonrefundable and non-transferable.
    • No refund will be given if a passenger misses the bus or requests a refund after departure.
    • Cash refunds are not provided for third-party online ticket purchases under any circumstances.

    3. Boarding & Drop-off Policy

    • The bus will only pick up and drop passengers at designated stopovers.
    • No roadside pick-up or drop-off is allowed for passenger safety.
    • Passengers must present a valid ticket (e-ticket or printed) for boarding.
    • The bus will depart strictly according to the scheduled departure time, and Kainat Travels will not wait for late passengers.

    4. Luggage Policy

    • Each passenger is allowed up to 20 kg of personal luggage free of charge.
    • Commercial luggage will be charged regardless of weight.
    • Luggage exceeding the allowed weight will incur additional charges according to Kainat Travels policy.
    • Kainat Travels is not responsible for loss or damage to hand-carried items.
    • In case checked luggage is misplaced, lost, or damaged, compensation will be provided based on weight, not value, and a valid luggage tag must be presented, at Rs. 100 per kg.
    • Fragile or valuable items should not be included in checked luggage, as Kainat Travels cannot guarantee their safety.

    5. Prohibited Items & Passenger Conduct

    • The following are strictly prohibited in the bus or luggage compartment:
    • Pets or animals
    • Chemicals, oil canes, gas cylinders (full or empty)
    • Alcohol, drugs, weapons, explosives
    • Liquids and perishable items
    • Passengers who are intoxicated, aggressive, or unfit to travel will not be allowed to board, even if they hold a valid ticket.
    • Kainat Travels reserves the right to refuse boarding for safety or security reasons.

    6. Services on Board

    • Wi-Fi Access: Complimentary Wi-Fi up to 350 MB per passenger, subject to availability. Coverage may vary depending on route and network conditions.
    • Refreshments & Meals: Refreshments such as bottled water and cold drinks are provided on short routes (less than 6 hours), and free meals and breakfast are served on long routes (more than 16 hours) at rest areas or roadside restaurants on selected routes (e.g., Rawalpindi to Karachi), subject to availability. These are complimentary and cannot be claimed as compensation.
    • Multimedia Entertainment: Onboard multimedia services, including audio/video entertainment, are available subject to operational availability.
    • Cleanliness & Comfort: Buses are cleaned and maintained for passenger comfort. Passengers are requested to keep their seating area tidy and respect fellow passengers.
    • Special Services: Additional services such as blankets or pillows are complimentary when available and cannot be guaranteed.

    7. Force Majeure

    • In cases of force majeure, including natural disasters, political unrest, road blockages, or unforeseen technical issues, Kainat Travels cannot be held liable for delays, cancellations, or damages.
    • No claims, refunds, or compensation will apply in such events.

    8. General Guidelines

    • Passengers are requested to keep their tickets and luggage tags safe until the end of the journey.
    • Passengers must follow all instructions given by bus staff and terminal personnel.
    • Kainat Travels reserves the right to modify policies at any time. The latest version will apply to all bookings
